Buying a home is one of the most important decisions you will make in a lifetime.  Investing in a home inspection will help you make an informed decision.  Having a Check First  Home Inspection will help you protect that investment.

A home inspection is an earnest, non-invasive visual examination of readily accessible systems and components of the property.  This will include:

Structure, Exterior, Roof, Interior, Plumbing, Electrical, Heating, Insulation, Ventilation and Fireplaces.  I also look for evidence of pests and mold.  All inspections are performed according to NH Standards of Practice.

Most home inspections take approximately 3-4 hours, and upon completion you will be given a brief verbal summary.  A detailed, easy to read written report with photos will follow, generally within 24 hours.  My report is not a simple checklist, but rather a 30-40 page narrative version that will describe locations and conditions of inspected systems and components. A Summary Page is included for major observations, and comments are color-coded throughout the report for easier reference.  Items requiring further evaluation will also be identified.
